Brandon Flowers just released the album art from his first solo effort, Flamingo. He continues to embody the swagger & charm that was/is Las Vegas. Brandon Flowers will release his debut solo album, entitled Flamingo, on September 14th, 2010 on Island Records in North America. The album will be released September 6th, 2010 in the UK. The album was produced by Stuart Price, Daniel Lanois, and Brendan O’Brien and features guest vocals by Jenny Lewis. The album’s first single, “Crossfire" is available to hear now on Brandon's website – http://www.brandonflowersmusic.com, and available on iTunes for digital download.
Here is the video for the first single off Flamingo. "Crossfire" takes a seriously POP, song, and turns it into a cinematic spaghetti-western, kung fu, masterpiece.
And here's Franky Baby & Elvis (fresh out of the military) singing a medley of hits, for good measure.
Let's hope Mr. Flowers continues to make pop radio a better place. And, FYM is forecasting a very large event involving Brandon Flowers+Flamingo Hotel & Casino in September.
