As FYM heads into the final quarter of our 2011 Black History Month celebration, Hip Hop the Pan-Africian, militant social-justice fueled, sonic grenade from Dead Prez, only seems appropriate to revisit on this President's Day.
Dead Prez have an unfeigned commitment to crafting raw, engaging, culturally conscious music. As a whole, their tunes serve as exploration into passion, championing against big media, and corporate control.
