Midwest folkie- Paleo (David Strackany) is possibly best know for his impressive feat of writing and recording a song a day for 365 days a few years back. This week Paleo, released a new music video (we are in love with) in support of his new record Fruit of the Spirit. The tune itself, Holly Would, is a buzzy little number, featuring thoughtful anthemic lyrics, loose rag tag rhythms, great melody, and rambling growler vocals.
FYM comrade, and Midwest doer of things, Jon Burns directed the visually-striking four minute romp above. His literal interpretation of Paleo's lyrics with classic Burns aesthetics create playful charm that pairs well with the sonic landscape abuzz. Burns has also done impressive video work for Alive Records band, Mondo Drag. When Jon is not editing, he likes to play music, check out his band Meth and Goats- as they just released a new album called Leisure Time HERE. And for all things Paleo, go HERE. Cheers to both artists on a formidable collaboration.
