FYM will be on the scene, watching the gloom-pop Danish duo (The Raveonettes) perform live this Friday the 13th, at Neumos, Seattle USA. The Raveonettes are currently finishing up the West Coast leg of their tour (before they hit Europe) in support of their April 2011 release Raven In The Grave. The music itself is a delightful combination of digitized-sonic noir, paired with noisy rock around the clock guitar flourishes, finished off by haunting- motorcycle at midnight vocal embellishments.
The first track off The Raveonettes latest release is called Recharge & Revolt. The synth-driven nostalgic wall of sound is accompanied by vocal anthems reminiscent of The Jesus and Mary Chain. Check out The Raveonettes staking their claim in the greater Los Angeles area in the campy visual companion to the single.
FYM will see you this Friday tweeting live- checking out The Raveonettes at Neumos in Capitol Hill. Go HERE for ticket information. And for all things The Raveonettes check out their well designed website HERE.
Cheers, FYM
