Princeton came out tremendously strong when they stepped on stage at The Independent this past Wednesday in San Francisco California USA! Immediately focusing the crowds attention (less on stage presence theatrics) more-so on the bands fluent dream pop vigor.
Reflective and crisp- the bands gorgeous use of whirling layered keyboards and ambient vocal prowess set a tone that will be a perfect soundtrack to Spring/Summer 2012. Midway through their set FYM heard To The Alps -ultimately solidifying our devotion to this up-and-coming group on Hit City USA Records. Listen to their jam To The Alps below:
Towards the end of their set we couldn't help but notice that two of the band members looked eerily similar, soon realizing Jesse (guitar, vocals) and Matt (bass, vocals) are identical twins! Princeton closed out the night with Florida -an upbeat little gem that could turn a casual hangout with friends into an all-out dance party.
These young #buzzworthy prospects from L.A. have a bright future ahead of them with the release of an impressive new record Remembrance of Things to Come (BUY the album HERE). Cheers, FYM.
